One must hold a measure of self-awareness if not self-delusion in order to posture. I am not certain how many lizards and songbirds have that capacity.
It amuses me. I see many cities on the surface, in all of them I sing and they share in it. It is better than having one's stories told for them. They take my words instead and find themselves in them. Or... they just enjoy excellent lighting on display.
Perhaps you have a point. Though they do so to gain a mate, do they not? I seek more than that for my efforts. ... are you finding what you seek? When you are among the jungle birds.
I am proud of what has been created, yes. What is performed each night. I imagine though that I shall tire of the stage eventually once more, but not yet. Then maybe return to it a third time in some capacity. Who knows.
